The guacamole was very different from any we’ve had before—it was mostly vegetable with just a little avocado mixed in—delicious! As we finished, I noticed the specials for the day. I definitely want to go back and try the Aqua fresco, Tamarindo, a flavored water they described as a juice. The only problem we had was finding the door. The map took us down the road past the restaurant instead of into the parking lot. From the road, we couldn’t see the restaurant, but fortunately we noticed the sign as we turned around to Leave.

I can’t say enough about this spot! Talk about a authentic menu with great prices. Taste is at a premium here. They have a few things I’ve never even seen on a menu and I eat at Mexican spots quite often and I’m a good geek. The Mole and piscadas are mind blowing. Can’t wait to come back and try all the other things.

Not sure about the authenticity of the food but I can tell you that it was splendid.. the salsa was definitely the top 3 on my list and the dinners were delicious. Great service no sweet tea though.. bummer but dr.pepper did the justice.
